Thomson Reuters needed a way to aggregate and deliver video content to a worldwide audience of financial professionals via a secure portal.

The Thomson Reuters product team engaged Omnigon to play a role in the conceptual-
ization and development efforts for the new video experience. Multimedia content is delivered over a cutting edge video player designed specifically for financial professionals, enabling them to watch relevant news and analysis through a personalized interface. There are currently 100+ partners that distribute video content on the platform, providing a single source of financial video programming.

Omnigon was engaged to provide a team of software architects and Flex developers to work in concert with Thomson Reuters product owners to build the video player experience. Our in-depth knowledge of web services, content management systems, Flex programming, and video streaming played a key role in the successful launch of this award-winning platform.

Reuters Insider received a 2009 SIIA CODiE for Best Video Content Aggregation Service from the Software & Information Industry Association.
